Sam Cowles

Sam is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of JLF Management Group. With a career that began in 2002 across the finance, construction, real estate sales, and investment sectors, he brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to the world of property management. He is also a licensed NC Broker and the BIC of GreyRock Commercial Real Estate.

Drawing from his experience as both a real estate investor and a tenant, Sam helped develop JLF’s systems and processes to address the exact gaps he and his partners experienced when their own properties were managed by others. That firsthand insight continues to shape JLF’s commitment to transparency, communication, and results.

Sam firmly believes that relationships matter most — and that a company is only as strong as the people behind it. He is incredibly proud of the JLF team, whose dedication and character drive the exceptional service experienced by clients, tenants, vendors, and the community every day.

Outside of work, Sam loves being outdoors and appreciating God’s creation, traveling the world, discovering great food, and playing or watching sports. Above all, he values time spent with friends and family. Sam and his wife, Natalie, have been married for 24 years and are blessed with two grown children and two perfect grandchildren.
